- Trecho: "Following the Monte della Spe - Castelnuovo operation, the 81st Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron [...] was attached to IV Corps and took over gradually increased frontages on the right of the corps zone, until, with a corresponding movement to the east of 10th Mountain elements, the Brazilian units that had been holding between the two were entirely pinched out.
